Chinese thirst boosts Aussie exports

Australia’s wine exports have grown in value by 7% courtesy of a spike in China’s desire for premium wines. The value of Australia’s wine exports grew to $2.2bn in 2016 and Industry body Wine Australia reported the growth in their annual Export Report. “Last year, Australia’s most premium wines took centre stage,” the Wine Australia chief executive, Andreas Clark, said.
